This dark earthy black tea comes from the high mountains in Yunnan province, China. The tea comes in it’s traditional form – pressed into small single-serving cakes. Traditionally, people enjoy drinking this tea in the early morning or after meals to give a good energy boost to your day. This tea is very dark and rich as it has been aged under precisely controlled conditions. Pu’er is often described as a smooth yet intense tea that has many reported health benefits such as aiding digestion. This product is wholly naturally grown and processed.
Each brick can be used alone for a strong tea, or broken up for smaller uses. Ideal brewing temperature is 200F, and should be brewed for at least two minutes. A brick may also be used for multiple steepings in a day.
